DATA AND ACCOUNT SECURITY

How madhurmorning Handles Your Data and Account

We apply encryption at rest and in transit for all account and payment data. Account security, retention practices and your rights over your own information are detailed across the six areas below…

Data Encryption

All personal and payment data — including UPI transaction references and Paytm wallet links — are encrypted using current industry-standard protocols. Our servers do not store full payment credentials; only tokenised references are retained for reconciliation purposes.

Cookie Practice

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and analytics cookies to understand how pages perform. You can manage cookie preferences from your account settings at any time. Opting out of analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use the platform.

Data Retention

Account records are retained for the period required by applicable financial and legal regulations in your jurisdiction. Once that period expires and your account is closed, personal data is deleted or anonymised — we do not hold it indefinitely after the legal obligation ends.

Account Security

Two-step verification is available on all madhurmorning accounts and we strongly recommend enabling it. Login attempts from unrecognised devices trigger an email alert to your registered address, giving you immediate visibility of any unauthorised access attempt.

Your Rights

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold, ask for corrections, and request deletion where no legal retention obligation applies. Submit these requests via the Help Centre portal and our compliance team will respond within the statutory timeframe for your region.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell your data. PhonePe, Paytm and UPI payment processors receive only the transaction data they require to process your deposit or withdrawal. Any other third-party service we use is bound by a data processing agreement that restricts how they may use your information.

Frequently Asked Legal Questions

The questions below cover the areas we hear about most — your rights over your data, how our terms apply in India, and what steps to take if something needs to be corrected or disputed.

Our terms specify the governing jurisdiction in the final clause of the document. Access to our platform and the enforceability of these terms depend on local law in your region; where local law permits access, the stated jurisdiction applies to any dispute.

Submit a data access request through the Help Centre portal. Attach a copy of your account verification document so we can confirm identity. Our compliance team will send your data export within the timeframe required by applicable law in your region.

Yes. Where no legal retention obligation applies — such as financial record-keeping requirements — we will delete or fully anonymise your data upon a verified written request. Submit the request via the Help Centre and we will confirm the scope of what can be removed.

Transaction references are retained only for the period required by applicable financial regulations in your jurisdiction. Once that obligation expires, the records are deleted or anonymised. We do not retain payment data beyond what the law requires us to keep.

We email your registered account address before any material change to our terms takes effect. The email states what changed, why, and when the new version applies. You can also find the current version and its effective date in the Help Centre at any time.

Send a written description of your dispute to our legal email address. Include your account reference number and any relevant transaction IDs from UPI, Paytm or PhonePe. We acknowledge all formal disputes within two business days and provide a reference for tracking.

Analytics and marketing cookies are optional and can be turned off from your account settings. Session cookies are required for the platform to function correctly — disabling them will prevent you from staying logged in. All cookie categories and their purposes are listed in our Cookie Policy.
